I had started listening to Ajahn Brahms Dhamma talks probably on Youtube about 10-15 years ago and helped me in so many ways and situations in Life!
Then a turn of events as life is so uncertain I come to Srilanka and then go to visit a friend ..a Kalyanamitta who had also become a Monk and he then tells me about Ajahn Brahms retreat
I had enrolled for a 45 day Meditation retreat but had to give it up for a chance to meet Ajahn Brahm.
While in the retreat one morning an unexpected surprise & opportunity turns up and I said yes 
had a One on One conversation and Breakfast with Ajahn Brahm wow ..Dhamma is Amazing!!
Then ..the BIG one for me was while asking Dhamma questions at the end I asked for him to be my Achariya (taking dependence under Ajahn Brahm as my Teacher )
“Achariyo me Bhante hohi…Ayasmato Nissaya Vacchami”
But he did say that even though I had taken nissaya ….there will be other teachers I will meet in Life!
May he inspire Millions towards Nibbana!
